Local centers are designed to mobilize a cooperative evangelism effort to reach out to local communities. They act to create a cohesive mobilization movement. They also serve as an environment where churches can work together, allowing local churches, regardless of size, to be involved.
Requirements for starting a local center are:
- A location within any building owned by the churches and organizations related to that center
- A computer system that has the capability to database each individual in each local church attached to that center. Produce mission materials, newsletters, etc.
- A mission library
- A classroom for training of consultants
- A space where strategic global planning can take place
- Offices for the director and staff
